Where can I put the badge?
Your homepage, footer or another public page on the same product website. Keep the badge visible and clickable. Both the main hostname and its www version are accepted.
What if the check cannot find it?
Publish your changes and clear your website’s cache. Keep the official image inside its link. The badge must appear in the initial HTML; a login wall or JavaScript-only embed cannot be verified. You can try again after 30 seconds.
Does verification mean my tool is approved?
No. Verification confirms the website badge. Free submissions still need editorial approval before you can publish. Checks stay valid for 24 hours; recheck before review or publication if needed.
Can I change the image or link?
Choose any of the three official styles. Keep the image and link together in the embed; link relation attributes such as nofollow are accepted. The badge does not promise an award, endorsement or search ranking.
