Editorial responsibility
Find the AI Tool editorial maintains the directory and receives corrections through the contact page. We identify the basis of each overview and separate editorial selections from purchased placements.
The directory editorial team maintains research-based overviews from official product pages, documentation and current plan information. Source links and check dates appear with the content.
Where a product publishes a price, we show a starting price with the date we checked it and a link to the official pricing page. We record only what that page states, so a price we could not confirm is left blank. Confirm on the official page before you buy.
A featured directory listing can be editorial or paid. Sponsored placements and paid or affiliate links are identified. Payment does not determine the order of tools in an editorial guide.
Our current launch guides are not hands-on benchmarks. We do not invent product ratings, test results, screenshots, customer testimonials or promises of search rankings.
For a reproducible comparison, use the same permitted input and output requirements, record the product and plan, date, settings, revision time and limitations, and retain the original result. Publish a measured result only after completing that task.

These are task protocols, not completed product tests. Use material you are allowed to share. Compare the same requirement, record the tool, plan, date, settings, output, revision effort and limitations, and check the result yourself.
Writing
Input: A 300-word draft you own and five facts that must remain unchanged.
Check: A 150-word revision. Check every supplied fact, added claim and required edit.
Coding
Input: A small repository you can share, a reproducible bug and an existing test.
Check: A reviewable patch. Record test results, unintended changes and the time needed to review it.
Research
Input: Three public source documents and a question answerable from those sources.
Check: An answer with passage-level support. Check each citation and whether uncertainty is preserved.
How we put the directory together
Each overview starts with official product pages, documentation and plan information. We explain the tasks a tool is designed for, the setup it needs and the limitations to consider. Source links and a checked date make that basis visible.
Our launch guides are research-based editorial overviews. They do not claim hands-on testing or measured performance. Recommendations reflect a stated workflow and its trade-offs, rather than a universal score.
A shortlist is a starting point
Writing a first draft, exploring a codebase and preparing a video call for different capabilities. Our selections explain those differences. Plans, model access, regional availability and prices can change; follow the official source before signing up.
Listings and paid placements
Tool makers can submit a listing through our Free, Pro or Sponsor plans. Free listings go through review. Featured listings and sponsored placements are identified in the directory; paid placement does not determine the order of tools in an editorial guide.
